MerakiBySam was born during a time when life nudged me to pause, reflect, and rediscover myself. In the stillness of uncertainty, I found strength — and from that strength, a dream was born. A dream to create something soulful, personal, and empowering for women like me.
But the seed of that dream was planted long ago — in quiet moments shared with my mother.
Growing up, I watched her effortlessly drape a dupatta, stitch beauty into fabric, and carry herself with grace — even in the most ordinary days. Fashion wasn’t just about getting dressed — it was about expression, care, and confidence. We would talk fabrics, colours, and dream up outfits not just for weddings, but for everyday life. That love — that bond — became the true soul of MerakiBySam.
Fashion, to me, has always been more than clothing. It’s a form of self-love, identity, and quiet power. With no big backing or formal design training, I began this journey with just one thing: intention. The intention to create pieces that feel good, look beautiful, and carry meaning.
